It is amazing to look back at how much my home office has evolved over the past couple of years. Things have been removed, added, and adjusted. Sometimes my desk is a mess and other times it is a symbol of simplicity. I have gone through so many candles; often lighting one before entering into an online convening or when I am holding people in my life close to my heart as they face challenges. This desk holds a lot of emotional energy because it is where I laugh, cry, birth ideas, deepen connections, and so much more.
The evolution of my home office is a reflection of my personal and professional evolution over the past couple of years. There has been a lot of learning and growth in the removing, adding, adjusting of things. And I am not just speaking of the physical objects that occupy this space. I have been removing fears and beliefs that have been limiting, adding boundaries and reflective practices that are grounding, and adjusting to meet uncertainty and opportunities that are always coming.
All of this has allowed me to show up and be in service to others in ways that bring me joy and for that, I am deeply grateful.
